Option 1 - THIS SESSION IS FULL

An Afternoon with Joey Feith, ThePhysicalEducator.com : LOCATION HAS BEEN EMAILED TO PARTICIPANTS

Enhancing teaching with technology.  Come and examine what is required to be a good physical education teacher and how technology integration supports quality teaching.  This is a session not to be missed by anyone looking to elevate their teaching practice.  Check out the Physical Educator webpage, twitter and youtube channel to "rethink" what can be done in physical education.

Supercharged Physical Education: Enhancing Your Teaching With Technology
Technology is evolving at such a rapid pace that it can become overwhelming for teachers who are looking to integrate it in their teaching. The purpose of this session is to provide you with some clarity when it comes to tech. We will explore the big “why” behind the use of technology as a pedagogical tool in physical education. From there, we will explore technology as a solution to common obstacles that physical educators face in their teaching. Finally, I will provide you with some of the best use cases of technology that I have encountered throughout my career! You can expect to leave this session with a clear plan as to how to start integrating technology in your physical education lessons and a multitude of ideas in your digital tool belt!

An afternoon with Ever Active Schools: Teaching Games to foster Self-Regulation: LOCATION HAS BEEN EMAILED TO PARTICIPANTS

Creative games and activities can promote the skills that optimize self-regulation. When our students have the opportunity to develop the skills needed for self-regulation they are better suited to make healthy choices that affect them and their school community. “Providing the support that children need to build these skills at home, in early care and education programs, and in other settings they experience regularly is one of society’s most important responsibilities” – Center on the Developing Child, Harvard University. Join Ever Active Schools as we explore how HPE classrooms can be the optimal settings to promote these skills through fun, creative and original activities.

*This session includes an exclusive offer of a free Ever Active Schools resource.

The cost is $40.00      Time: 1pm - 4pm
