Greater Calgary

My name is Susan Shearer, I teach in Strathmore. I have been teaching at Wheatland Elementary (K-6) for twenty years. I am passionate about inspiring children to be healthy, active life long learners.

I am a certified DrumFit instructor. I have attended HPEC conferences teaching DF as well as many schools in Alberta. My newest passion is Dance Pl3y, which teaches dance through play. I am a certified kid instructor and working towards a teen/adult certification as well.

We held a very successful PHysEd camp in early November, hosting with the Calgary RR's. It was an event I had only heard about and was thrilled to have a team to help me make the event come alive! I plan to organize two more in the spring, so keep eyes open on the HPEC website for dates.
